Historic buildings

Nantwich is a charming market town. Nowhere, apart from Chester, has more historic listed buildings in Cheshire.

Take a walk down Welsh Row, Hospital Street. Guides are available in the Museum shop or sign up for a guided walk.

St Mary’s Church

Town Centre

We still have lots of independent traders, offering a very different shopping experience.

Where else could you have coffee in an Elizabethan Bookshop, lunch in one of several historic pubs, afternoon tea in a deli that also has a display of bygone items from old shops and stay in a historic hotel where previous guests include members of the Royal Family, Franz Liszt (the composer), and celebrities – including Jon Pertwee (Dr Who) who brought one of the Daleks, and three different Formula One Champions?
