The Museum is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10.30am-4.30pm.
Sometimes school groups visit the Museum. These visits are usually between 10am and 3pm. At these times the Museum will be somewhat louder and busier. To see when school visits are scheduled see the community page.

Although admission to the Museum is free, donations are appreciated as they help us to offer a wide range of services for the public. For example, a Dementia Friendship Group.
Nantwich is well served by public transport. Nantwich bus station is a six minute walk away (0.3 miles). Nantwich Railway station is a four minute walk away (0.2 miles). There are direct services to Manchester, North and South Wales, and Birmingham. It’s only one stop to Crewe Station, for fast connections across the country.
The nearest long stay car park is on Love Lane (about a minute away).
The Museum’s main entrance is accessible via steps which has a handrail. There is however, a side entrance, avoiding steps to the left of the main door. Please ring the buzzer next to it to alert staff.
Most of the exhibits are on the ground floor with only the office and staff kitchen located on the first floor.
There are two toilets situated in the ground floor including an accessible toilet.
Food and drink is not available at the Museum itself but there are numerous places to get refreshments nearby.

Nantwich Museum has achieved full accreditation under the Arts Council England scheme.
